Ariana Grande loves her body art. And over the years, the beauty has proven she can be both edgy and elegant with her head-to-toe tattoo collection. Ariana has over 40 tattoos across her body, ranging from tiny text designs etched onto her fingers to more elaborate pieces like the butterflies on her arm or the vines across her midriff. Some are a tribute to art she likes, while others are inside jokes between friends and a few are even there to cover up old mistakes.

Though she’s loved showing off her tattoos, the star has stayed relatively quiet about the inspiration behind her ink. Still, that doesn’t make them any less awesome to admire.
