Amanda Knox is an author, podcast host, and motivational speaker best known for her harrowing experience as a college student. While studying abroad in Italy in 2007, Amanda’s roommate, Meredith Kercher, was brutally murdered. Amanda and her then-boyfriend were named as suspects, and she was sentenced to four years in prison after a shocking conviction. Amanda fought tooth and nail for an appeal after maintaining her innocence, and eventually won in 2015. Her murder conviction was finally overturned, and she was allowed to return to the United States a free woman. Since her wrongful imprisonment, Amanda has spoken about criminal justice reform, and hosted a podcast, The Truth About True Crime with Amanda Knox. She began dating author Christopher Robinson shortly after her prison release; they legally married in December 2018 and celebrated with a space and renaissance themed wedding in February 2020.
