Alabama at a Hall of Fame

Alabama consisted of cousins, Teddy, Jeff, and Randy, and was started in 1969. They officially became a band called Wildcountry in 1972 but changed their name to Alabama in 1977. They went on to become one of the most successful country music bands of all time and released hit singles like “Tennessee River,” “Feels So Right,” and “Mountain Music,” up until 2004, when they temporarily stopped producing and performing.

They got together again in 2013 and started regularly performing but in 2018, Jeff had to step away from the band due to a battle with Parkinson’s disease. Jeff sadly passed away at the age of 73 on Nov. 7, 2022.
