Teddi Wright is back for another shot at love on season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise. Teddi actually went on the very first date of the season with Andrew Spencer, and the two have been spending quite a bit of time together on the beach. 1. What Happened To Teddi On ‘The Bachelor’?
Teddi was a contestant on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor (26), which aired at the beginning of 2022. Teddi immediately caught Clayton’s eye and she got his first impression rose. After that, they continued to build their connection, but Teddi didn’t get a one-on-one date until week six. However, Teddi was sent home during week seven, right before hometown dates.
2. What Does Teddi Do For A Living?
Teddi’s job on her Bachelor Bio is listed as a Surgical Unit Nurse in Highland, California. Per her Instagram page, Teddi passed the NCLEX to become a Registered Nurse in Feb. 2020.
3. Who Slid Into Teddi’s DMs After ‘The Bachelor’?
During the Women Tell All special on her season of The Bachelor, Teddi revealed that someone very close to Clayton had slid into her DMs on Instagram. She was hesitant to share the person’s identity, but eventually admitted that it was one of Clayton’s brothers! However, Teddi said she did not reply, adding, “I think one Echard boy in my lifetime was enough for me!”
4. Teddi Grew Up In A Religious Household
Teddi’s ABC bio reveals that she grew up in a “strict Christian household.” However, she says that she “lives by her own rules,” despite her upbringing. Teddi often posts photos with her sister, Kayla Jo, and brother on Instagram. Her sister got married in 2019 and her her first child in 2020. She is currently expecting her second child, too, which means Teddi will soon have two nephews! In 2015, Teddi also wrote a special Instagram post for her mom on Mother’s Day, where she wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who no one believes I’m biologically related to. Love you mama.”
5. Teddi Is A Virgin
When Teddi got to Bachelor in Paradise, she introduced herself as “Teddi the virgin,” which is something fans knew about her from The Bachelor. On the premiere episode of The Bachelor, Teddi revealed to viewers that she was waiting until marriage to have sex. “I made the decision at a young age,” she explained. “I would say probably too young, looking back. But I’m a lot more open now. I definitely want to wait until I’m in love to have sex because I have waited this long.” She opened up to Clayton about the decision on their one-on-one date, as well.
