The Serpent, Crocodile, Seahorse, and Whatchamacallit will be taking the stage for the Group B finals during the Nov. 18 episode of The Masked Singer. The Serpent has made quite the statement during his last two performances, making fans anxious to find out who is underneath that Serpent mask. So, who is the Serpent? The Serpent has revealed a series of clues in his clue packages that will help The Masked Singer sleuths out there.

In the Serpent’s first clue package, he says “it took a chain of miraculous events to get here.” The first moments of the clue package feature the Serpent eating a banana while sitting in a library. The books shown are titled How to Dig Yourself Out of Debt and Serpent Manual. A map of the Caribbean is also shown. The Serpent notes that the prescription number to its identity is “#31118.”

Signs titled “Musicology” and “Medicine” are featured as well, hinting that the Serpent has a background in medicine. When the Serpent was young, he says he was “mischievous and devious.” However, his father saved him “with a one-way ticket away from the wrong crowd and on to a path towards success.”

In his second clue package, the Serpent reveals that he took an “unorthodox path to get here.” He admits that he could barely make rent when he was starting out. He sold clothes and did manual labor. A croissant is featured twice in his second package, so it’s clear he’s a fan of the tasty pastry.

The Serpent wowed with his performance of “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by The Proclaimers and “The Bones” by Maren Morris. The panelists have guessed celebs like Taye Diggs, Jesse Williams, and Brian McKnight.

Those are all solid guesses, but many fans are guessing Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. across the internet. The map of the Caribbean could be a hint to Hamilton since that’s where Alexander Hamilton was born. The number “31118” could be referencing the Biblical verse Romans: 3:11-18, which was written by Paul. Paul was the name of the character in Rent that Leslie played in his Broadway debut. A new celebrity will be unmasked at the end of the Nov. 18 episode, which airs at 8 p.m. on FOX.
