Sean Lowe was the star of season 17 of The Bachelor back in 2013, and he walked away from the experience with a gorgeous wife and three kids! Sean is still married to his final pick, Catherine Giudici, and they’ve started a beautiful family together. Meeting On ‘The Bachelor’
Sean became the Bachelor after coming in third place on Emily Maynard’s season of The Bachelorette. The photo above shows Sean and Catherine meeting for the very first time. The pair’s relationship flourished, but Catherine did not receive a one-on-one date until week six of the competition. Still, she continued to move on in the competition, and the two formed a special connection.
Engagement
Sean ultimately proposed to Catherine in Thailand at the final rose ceremony. After the engagement, the rode off together on the back of elephant and prepared to start their lives together. Finally, in March 2013, they were able to make their first official, public appearance as a couple after the finale of The Bachelor. Fans were thrilled to see how happy they still were, even months after filming ended.
Dating In The Spotlight
Life didn’t slow down for Sean and Catherine after The Bachelor. They began making lots of public appearances together, including the Maxim Hot 100 party in May 2013. The two didn’t shy away from packing on the PDA on the red carpet, and they looked so in love as they publicly posed for photos together. After months of having to keep the relationship top-secret — we don’t blame them!
TV Wedding
Less than a year after the pair’s engagement aired on The Bachelor, they tied the knot in a wedding special that aired live on ABC on Jan. 26, 2014. Several other stars from Bachelor Nation were in attendance at the high-profile event, and Sean and Catherine were quite emotional on their big day. What a special moment!
Starting A Family
Sean and Catherine were very open about their desire to start a family, and they confirmed their first pregnancy in Dec. 2015. Catherine gave birth to the pair’s first son, Samuel, in July 2016. She and Sean were very open about their lives as new parents on social media, and they loved sharing photos of Samuel after he was born.
Baby No. 2
After Samuel’s birth, Sean and Catherine wasted no time getting pregnant with baby number two. Their second son, Isaiah, was born in May 2018. With a family of four, Sean and Catherine continued to openly share pictures of their sweet boys online, and fans fell in love with the adorable family!
A Little Girl
There was still something missing, though! Catherine had been dying for a baby girl, an she finally got her wish when the pair’s daughter, Mia, was born in Dec. 2019. They decided not to find out the sex of the baby before she was born, so it was a lovely surprise when Mia turned out to be a girl. In just three and a half years, the Lowes had three kids, and they fully embraced the hectic lifestyle!
This may not be the end of the road when it comes to expanding the Lowe family, though. While Catherine was pregnant with Mia, the couple admitted that they already have baby number four on the brain! However, this time, they would love to adopt. It’s going to be an exciting life for these two!
