From Paris to Los Angeles, the Olympic Games of 2024 ended on a high note. Once Tom Cruise handed over the Olympic flag at the Hollywood Sign in a pre-recorded film, the 2028 Handoff Ceremony kicked off with an array of memorable performances. After its conclusion, camera cut back to Paris, where French musician Yseult ended the 2024 Olympics Closing Ceremony by singing a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.”

Hollywood Life has rounded up a full recap of the 2028 Olympic Handoff Ceremony, below!

H.E.R.

While still in Paris, H.E.R. introduced the L.A. Handoff Ceremony by singing the National Anthem. Dressed in an all-white outfit, she delivered the song with her signature vocals and rockstar guitar skills.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

After athletes brought the flag over to Venice Beach, the Red Hot Chili Peppers performed “Can’t Stop,” and the entire crowd was living for it. Since the official Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Olympics was still in Paris, attendees got to enjoy the L.A. concert from Jumbotrons.

Billie Eilish

Once the beach vibes were established, Billie Eilish took the stage after Red Hot Chili Peppers concluded their performance of “Can’t Stop.” For her part, Billie sang “Birds of a Feather” while wearing her classic oversized wardrobe. She selected a large T-shirt, shorts and a baseball cap for the day. Even the set decor matched the vibes with light pink and blue colors in addition to beach-themed props around Billie’s band.

Snoop Dogg & Dr. Dre

Once Billie’s performance concluded, Snoop Dogg — a.k.a everyone’s favorite Olympic fan — brought back his hit single “Drop It Like It’s Hot” in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Accompanied by a backup dancer, Snoop’s performance was reminiscent of the early 2000s. And to add to the Olympics theme, Snoop sang in front of sand creations that were similar to ancient Roman Empire structures.

After he concluded his single, Snoop joined Dr. Dre on stage to perform “The Next Episode.”
