Ty Dolla Sign (born Tyrone William Griffin, Jr. on April 13, 1985 in Los Angeles, California) is an American hip hop and R&B singer. He released his first mixtape Beach House in 2012 after signing a deal with Atlantic Records, then in 2013, he signed to Wiz Khalifa‘s label Taylor Gang Records. He released his debut studio album Free TC in 2015.

Ty’s father is Tyrone Griffin, a member of the funk band Lakeside. Ty can play the bass guitar, drums, guitar, keyboards and the MPC. Ty has a daughter named Jailynn Griffin.
