Tess Holliday (born Ryann Maegen Hoven in Laurel, Mississippi on July 5, 1985) is an American plus-sized model. In 2011, Tess was cast as the face of the A&E documentary series Heavy after being discovered online. After coining the viral hashtag #effyourbeautystandards in 2013, Tess rose to fame, being named one of the top six plus-sized models in the world by Vogue Italia. Tess is currently signed with London-based agency Milk Model Management.

Tess is best known for her #EffYourBeautyStandards campaign and being the world’s first size 22 supermodel.
Personal Life:
Tess had her first son, Rylee, with her unnamed ex, when she was 20 years old. Tess met her now-fiancee, photographer Nick Holliday on Tumblr in 2012. They were engaged on July 5, 2015. Tess and Nick have one son together, Bowie Juniper Holliday, who was born on June 6, 2016. The couple plans to marry in fall 2016.
