Bio:
Stephen Collins (born Stephen Weaver Collins in Des Moines, Iowa on October 1, 1947) is an actor, writer, and musician. Stephen was raised with his two older brothers in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York and attended Amherst College. He played bass guitar and rhythm guitar in a number of rock and roll bands at Amherst. He is probably best known for playing Eric Camden on 7th Heaven, but he is also known for the roles of Captain Will Decker in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and more recently as Dr. Dayton King on No Ordinary Family. He also appeared in a supporting role in Revolution as Dr. Gene Porter, father of Elizabeth Mitchell‘s character Rachel Matheson.

Personal Life:
Stephen Collins was married to Marjorie Weinman from 1970 to 1978. He later married actress Faye Grant on April 21, 1985 and they have a daughter, Kate (born in 1989). On May 7, 2012, Stephen filed for divorce from Faye. In a therapy session secretly recorded in 2012, Eric allegedly admitted to molesting three underage girls. This recording was released by TMZ on October 7, 2014.
