Sherri Papini (born Sherri Graeff in Redding, California) is a mother-of-two who was allegedly kidnapped on November 2, 2016 after going for a run around 2 p.m. in the Mountain Gate, California area north of Redding. Her husband panicked when he realized she had failed to pick their two children up from daycare later that day. After a search, Sherri’s headphones and phone were found where she was last seen jogging. On Thanksgiving day, Nov. 24, Sherri was found at around 4:30 a.m. chained to the side of a road beaten, with a bag over her head, and weighing only 87 pounds. Her kidnappers are believed to be two Hispanic/Latina women armed with a handgun who drove a dark-colored SUV.

Sherri Papini has two children — a girl named Violet and a boy named Tyler — and is married to Keith Papini. The two tied the knot in 2012 and currently live in California.
