Ryan Rodney Reynolds (born October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian film and television actor. He gained fame in his first feature National Lampoon’s Van Wilder as well as playing the role of Michael Bergen on ABC’s sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (1998-2001). He has appeared in a number of comedy films like Just Friends, Definitely, Maybe, The Proposal, and The Change-Up. He has also appeared in some action films as the character Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in Green Lantern, and in the 2012 film Safe House.

Ryan was engaged to Alanis Morisette but they split in 2006. He then married actress Scarlett Johansson on September 27, 2008 but they divorced after two years on July 1, 2011. In October 2011, he began dating actress Blake Lively. The couple married on Sept. 9, 2012. The pair now have two daughters: Ines and James.
