Richard Dreyfuss

Bio:
Richard Dreyfuss (born Richard Stephen Dreyfuss in Brooklyn, NY on October 29, 1947) is an Academy-Award winning actor who moved to Europe as a young child, then to LA. He began acting as a kid and made his TV debut in Mama’s House when he was only 15. Later on, he did many small TV rolls on Bewtiched, That Girl and The Big Valley. In the 70s, he performed on and off Broadway. He made his big-screen debut in The Graduate — as an uncredited character with one line. However, his big break out was in 1973 in American Graffiti, and was followed by huge blockbusters — Jaws and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Then in 1977 he starred in The Goodbye Girl and became the youngest actor to win an Academy Award (at 30). He later was nominated for another Oscar (and Globe) for his role in Mr. Holland’s Opus.

Personal Life:
Richard Dreyfuss  married writer and producer Jeramie Rain in the 80s and they had three children: Emily, Benjamin and Harry. They divorced in 1995 and four years later he married Janelle Lacey. However, 6 years after that, they two divorced. In 2006, he married for a third time to Svetlana Erokhin.
