Peter Facinelli (born on November 26, 1973 in Queens, New York) is an American actor and producer. He studied acting at New York University before making his way into film and television. His most famous works include starring as Donovan “Van” Ray on the television series Fastlane and as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the vastly popular Twilight franchise. Peter is currently a series regular on Showtime’s comedy-drama series Nurse Jackie.

Best Known For:
Peter is best known for his role as Dr. Fitch “Coop” Cooper on Nurse Jackie, and for his role as the Cullen patriarch in Twilight.

Personal Life:
Peter married actress Jennie Garth in 2001 after meeting on the set of An Unfinished Affair in 1995. They have three daughters together, Luca Bella, Lola Ray and Fiona Eve. In March 2012, Peter filed for divorce from Jennie. He soon after began dating actress and Nurse Jackie co-star Jaimie Alexander. On March 18, 2015, the couple announced their engagement.
