Bio:
Natalie Portman (born June 9, 1981 as Natalie Hershlag) is an American/Israeli actress (she has dual citizenship). She starred alongside big name stars like Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson and Glenn Close, before finding her own worldwide success in the Star Wars prequel films as Queen Padme Amidala. She went on to star in Where The Heart Is, V For Vendetta, and Black Swan, the film for which she won the Oscar for Best Actress. Natalie showed she’s not above poking fun at herself, starring in one of the first SNL Digital Shorts, “Natalie Raps.”

Personal Life:
Natalie was born in Jerusalem to Avner, a fertility doctor from Israel, and Shelley, an artist (and Natalie’s manager) from Ohio. The family moved to a few places before settling in New York, where Natalie still makes her home today. Natalie excelled in her academic pursuits, taking timeout from acting to graduate from Harvard University with a degree in psychology. She found true love on the set of Black Swan with her choreographer Benjamin Millepied, a ballet dancer. Natalie announced her engagement and pregnancy simultaneously in late 2010. The couple welcomed a son, Aleph Portman-Millepied, in 2011 and married in August 2012 in a Jewish ceremony.
