Lily’s stage career led to her being cast as Portia in the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Merchant of Venice, which netted her a Tony nomination for Best Actress in a Play in 2011. That year, Lily was cast as Nora Montgomery in the first season of the horror anthology series, American Horror Story. She has appeared in every season since. Lily portrayed Commander Lyme in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, but was replaced in Part 2 due to a scheduling conflict.
