Lake Bell (born Lake Siegel Bell on March 24, 1979 in New York City, New York) is an American actress, director, screenwriter, and producer. She has starred in the films In a World…, which she wrote and directed, What Happens in Vegas, No Strings Attached and on the television series Childrens Hospital. She has also had roles on the TV shows Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, BoJack Horseman and How to Make It in America. She recently starred in the movie The Secret Life of Pets and will be in 2017’s What’s the Point?.

Personal Life:
Lake attended attended Skidmore College, then transferred to London’s Rose Bruford College, where she acted in plays. She has dated Colin Farrell, but they broke up. Lake met artist Scott Campbell in 2011, and they got engaged in 2012 before getting married the following year. In 2014, she gave birth to a daughter, Nova.
