Bio:
Kristin Davis (born February 23, 1965 in Boulder, Colorado) is an American actress. She’s best known for her roles as Brooke Armstrong on Melrose Place and Charlotte York Goldenblatt on Sex and the City. In 2004, Kristin received an Emmy nomination for her role as Charlotte. She attended Rutgers University and graduated with a BFA degree in Acting in 1987. She’s starred in both Sex and the City feature films — Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2 — as well as films such as Nine Months, Deck the Halls, Couples Retreat and Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Kristin is also a global ambassador for Oxfam, and was named a Maybelline celebrity spokeswoman in 2004. She won the 2010 Humane Society’s Wyler Award and has also worked with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. In 2012, she made her Broadway debut playing Mabel Cantwell in the revival of The Best Man, and she made her West End debut in the 2014 original stage production of Fatal Attraction as Beth Gallagher.

Kristin adopted a daughter, Gemma Rose Davis, in 2011. She has never married, but has been previously linked to screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. Kristin is a recovering alcoholic and first became sober at the age of 22.
