Kiera Knightley (born Keira Christina Knightley in Teddington, London on March 26, 1985) is an actress and singer who made her debut in a TV movie in 1993. In ’99, she landed the role as Sabé in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Her first lead role was in Princess of Thieves in 2001, playing Robin Hood’s daughter. Over the years, her career grew and grew and after her breakthrough role in Bend it Like Beckham, she landed her largest yet in Pirates of the Caribbean. After that, her career skyrocketed, landing in filmes like Love Actually, King Arthur and Pride & Prejudice. In 2008, she decided to transition to more independent films.
