Keith Urban (born Keith Lionel Urban in Whangarei, North Island, New Zealand on October 26, 1967) is a New Zealand-Australian country music singer, songwriter, and reality show judge. Keith released a self-titled debut album in 1991 in Australia. He made his solo American debut in 1999 with another self-titled album. He has released a total of nine studio albums, having won a total of 4 Grammy awards. In November 2011, he signed on as one of the four coaches on the Australian version of The Voice. In September of 2012, he joined American Idol as a new judge for season 12.

Personal Life:
Keith dated veterinary technician Laura Sigler from 1992 to 2002. He met Nicole Kidman in January of 2005, began dating her six months later, and the two were married on June 25, 2006. Their first child, daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, was born on July 7, 2008. Their second daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, was born via surrogate on December 28, 2010.
