Bio:
Jude Law (born David Jude Heyworth Law on December 29th, 1972 in Lewisham, South London, England) is an English actor. Jude began acting with the National Youth Music Theatre in 1987, and went on to have his first television role in 1989. He gained international fame in 1997 after appearing in the both the science fiction film Gattaca and the crime drama Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Jude would be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1999 for his performance The Talented Mr. Ripley. His performance in that role would win him a Best Supporting Actor BAFTA Award. In 2003, he would receive an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor due to his performance in the film, Cold Mountain. He is also known for his role as Dr. John Watson in the recent Sherlock Holmes films starring Robert Downey Jr. Jude’s upcoming projects include portraying Author Thomas Wolfe in the 2015 movie Genius as well as a role in the film, Knights Of The Roundtable: King Arthur.

Personal Life:
Jude met actress Sadie Frost while they worked on the film Shopping. The two married on September of 1997 and divorced six years later in 2003. The two have three children together: sons Rafferty and Rudy; and daughter Iris. Jude began dating his Alfie co-star, Sienna Miller in 2003. The two would become engaged in 2004, but in 2005, Jude would publicly apologize to Sienna for having an affair with the nanny of his children. The two separated in 2006, before rekindling their relationship in 2009. In 2011, Jude and Siena would split for a second time. Jude became a father for the fourth time with model Samantha Burke in 2009. Their brief relationship produced a daughter, Sophia. In March of 2015, Jude became a father for the fifth time with his ex, Catherine Harding, when she gave birth to their daughter. Jude is active with philanthropic efforts. As of 2015, he is Chairman of the Young Vic committee, overseeing the theater’s efforts to develop new actors and directors. He is the chairman of the Music For Tomorrow Foundation to help rebuild New Orleans after Katrina. Jude has also participated in international peace efforts, working with the UNI International Day of Pace as well as UNICEF-supported programs. In 2011, Jude joined street protests in Belarus against president Alexander Lukashenko’s crackdown on that country’s democracy movement.
