Jordan Clarkson (Born Jordan Taylor Clarkson June 7, 1992 in Tampa, FL) is an NBA basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. Jordan was a standout basketball player at Karen Wagner High School in San Antonio, TX, where in his senior year he helped lead the team all the way to the semi-finals in the Texas state championships. He attended the University of Tulsa for two years, where he made All-Conference USA first team for his standout play on the court. In May 2012 he transferred to the University of Missouri and red-shirted his junior year. For his 2013-2014 season he was named to the 2014 All-SEC second team. When the season ended, he entered the NBA draft and was selected in the second round with the 46th overall pick by the Washington Wizards. He was subsequently traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on draft night. In his rookie year he ended up starting 38 games for the Lakers, primarily at point guard and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
