Jerry Bruckheimer (born Jerome Leon Bruckheimer in Detroit, Michigan on September 21, 1943) is a film and television producer. Known for crime shows CSI, CSI: Miami, and CSI: NY, Jerry is also a renowned producer of top films. Some of his most famous works include Top Gun, Armageddon, Bad Boys, Pearl Harbor, and Pirates of the Caribbean. In 2003, with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and Bad Boys II, he became the first producer in history to produce two of the highest-grossing films in one weekend.
