Faith Hill (born Audrey Faith Perry in Ridgeland, Mississippi on September 27, 1967) is a country singer who has sold more than 40 million records worldwide. She has won 5 Grammy Awards, 4 American Music Awards, and 14 Academy of Country Awards.
Best Known For:
Faith Hill is best known for her hit songs, ”This Kiss,” “The Way You Love Me” and for singing the intro to NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
Personal Life:
Faith Hill grew up in Mississippi where she was adopted as an infant by her parents, Edna and Ted Perry. At 19, Faith headed to Nashville to pursue her dream of becoming a country music singer. In 1988, Faith married music publishing executive, Daniel Hill, but shortly after the debut of her first album, ”Take Me As I Am,” the marriage crumbled. Faith met her now husband Tim McGraw in 1996 and the couple have three daughters together, Gracie Katherine, Maggie Elizabeth, and Audrey Caroline. Faith’s career took off in 2000 when she lent her voice to “Dr. Suess’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas” singing the popular song, ”Where Are You Christmas.” Since then, Faith has released 4 new albums, and has continued to be a staple in Country music.
