Enrique Iglesias (born Enrique Miguel Iglesias Preysler on May 8, 1975 in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and actor. The third son of famous singer Julio Iglesias, Enrique grew up first in Spain with his mother until 1986. He moved to live with his father in Miami, but Julio’s career kept him away for most of Enrique’s childhood. Enrique attended Gulliver Preparatory school and went on to study business at the University of Miami. After school, he started his music career under the name Enrique Martinez. However, his identity was quickly discovered. He released his first album in 1995, which sold half a million copies in its first week. It won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Performance. In 1999, Enrique’s song “Bailamos,” from the Wild Wild West soundtrack, became a number one hit in the US. He released his first album in English, Enrique, that same year. Since his debut, he has won 16 Billboard Music Awards, 36 Billboard Latin Music Awards, 4 Latin Grammys and has been named the King of Latin Pop. In addition to music, Enrique has acted alongside Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek in Once Upon a Time in Mexico and appeared on an episode of Two and a Half Men.

Personal Life:
Enrique is involved in multiple humanitarian causes, including Download to Donate, a charity project for the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. He urged his fans to donate to the American Red Cross to help those affected by the 2013 Philippines typhoon. He has also supported City of Hope, Habitat For Humanity, The Special Olympics and more. In 2001, Enrique started dating tennis player Anna Kournikova. The couple split up in 2014 but reportedly got back together in 2014.
