Enid Ortiz (born on May 4, 1991 in Newark, NJ) is an American singer. She first fell in love with music at just five years old after hearing the song “Killing Me Softly.” She joined the musical theater program at her high school in Tampa, and after graduation, she began posting song covers on YouTube. Enid performs in the reggae/rock fusion band Ragged Old Souls. She auditioned for season 12 of The Voice, which premiered in Feb. 2017, and chose Blake Shelton as her coach. Unfortunately, she was eliminated in the Knockout Round.
