Dick Van Dyke (born Richard Wayne Van Dyke on December 13, 1925 in West Plains, Missouri) is an American actor. Since beginning his career in Hollywood in 1955, Dick has gone on to star in more than 70 different projects. He had the lead role on two iconic American TV shows, The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961 to 1966) and Diagnosis: Murder (1993 to 2001). And who could forget his performance in Mary Poppins, as the nanny’s chimney-sweeping pal, Bert? Most recently, Dick was given the Life Achievement Award at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Personal Life:
Along with a very full career, Dick has also led a very full personal life. His first marriage was to Margie Willett, whom he married in 1948 on the radio show Bride and Groom. After having four children together, Dick and Margie divorced in 1984. lasted from 1948 to 1984. They had been separated for quite some time, and in 1976, Dick became involved with a woman named Michelle Triola. They remained together until her death in 2009, and after three years of bachelorhood, Dick married makeup arrests Arlene Silver. They remain married to this day.
