Damon Wayans (born Damon Kyle Wayans, Sr. on September 4, 1960 in New York City, New York) is an American actor, comedian, writer and producer. He is widely recognized for co-creating and starring on his own sketch comedy show, In Living Color, from 1990 to 1992. He received four Emmy nominations while on the show. Before that, he was on Saturday Night Live for one season. After In Living Color, Damon co-starred on a number of series, including The Last Boy Scout, Major Payne and My Wife and Kids. In Sept. 2015, Damon faced backlash for defending Bill Cosby amidst The Cosby Show star’s sex scandal and claimed that some of Bill’s accusers were “unrapeable.”

Damon Wayans is best known for creating and starring in In Living Color. He is also widely recognized for starring on the hit comedy series My Wife and Kids from 2001 to 2005.
Personal Life:
Damon was married to Lisa Thorner from 1984 to 2000. They had four children together: Damon Wayans, Jr., Michael Wayans, Cara Mia Wayans and Kyla Wayans. His siblings also include notable Hollywood stars Keenen Ivory Wayans, Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans.
