Damon Dash (born Damon Dash in New York, New York on May 3, 1971) is an American music producer and actor. He came to prominence as one of the founders of Roc-A-Fella Records alongside business partner Jay Z. He was also a partner in the Roc-A-Wear Clothing line, but sold his interest to Jay Z and is no longer involved with the clothing line. He is currently focusing more on his work as a music and film producer, director, and actor.

Being CEO and co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records alongside Jay Z. He was also dating singer Aaliyah at the time of her death in 2001.
Personal Life:
Damon has dated singer Aaliyah until her death in 2001 after her plane crashed in The Bahamas. In 2005 he married American fashion designer Rachel Roy. The couple had two children together before divorcing in 2009. Rachel is also allegedly “Becky with the good hair” whom Beyoncé references on her album Lemonade as having cheated with husband Jay Z, who is former business partners with Damon. He is also the cousin of actress Stacey Dash.
