Corey Kluber (born April 10, 1986 in Birmingham, Alabama) is a professional baseball pitcher for the Cleveland Indians. After playing baseball in college at Stetson University, he was drafted in 2007 by the San Diego Padres and later traded to the Indians in 2010. In 2013, Corey took his place in the team’s starting rotation. In 2014, he won the Cy Young Award after leading the American League wins. Corey signed a 5-year, $38.5 million contract extension with the Cleveland Indians in April 2015. In July 2016, Corey made the 2016 American League All-Star team.
