Christopher Lloyd

Bio:
Christopher Lloyd (born Christopher Allen Lloyd on October 22, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut) is an American actor. Christopher grew up in New Canaan, Connecticut, while spending his summers apprenticing at summer theaters in Mount Kisco, New York and Hyannis, Massachusetts. He took acting classes at age 19 in New York City, making his theater debut in the play And They Put Handcuffs On The Flowers. While Christopher had a robust theater career, he was destined for movie greatness. His first role came in the classic One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, but his breakthrough came when he portrayed “Revered” Jim Ignatowski on the TV sitcom, Taxi. He won two Primetime Emmy Awards for his performance. He is also best known for playing Emmett “Doc” Brown in the classic Back To The Future films with Michael J. Fox. In addition, Christopher played Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Uncle Fester in both movie adaptations of The Addams Family. Christopher continues to act, both on stage and in movies.

Personal Life:
Christopher and Catherine Dallas Dixon Boyd married in 1959. They divorced in 1972. He was married to actress Kat Tornborg  from 1974 to 1987, and to Carol Ann Vanek from the late 1980’s to 1991. His fourth marriage to Jane Walker Wood lasted from 1992 to 2005. Lloyd’s nephew, Sam Lloyd, is best known for playing Ted Buckland on Scrubs.
