Bio:
Carli Lloyd (born Carli Anne Lloyd on July 16, 1982 in Delran Township, NJ) is an American professional soccer player. The midfielder currently plays for Houston Dash in the National Women’s Soccer League and the US women’s national soccer team. She has played in three world cups and won two olympic gold medals in her career. Carli made World Cup history in 2015, scoring the first Hat Trick (3 goals) in a Women’s World Cup final. She, along with the rest of the USWNT, scored the fastest 4 goals in World Cup history in the 2015 final. This impressive, world-class display of soccer talent led the US Women to win their third World Cup championship.

Carli is best known for being a star athlete on the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team and for scoring the first ever Hat Trick in a Women’s World Cup final.
Personal Life:
Carli began playing soccer at age 5. After graduating Delran High School in 2000, she enrolled in Rutgers University. She was named First Team All Big-East for four straight years and was the school’s all-time leader in points, goals and shots by the time she graduated. She has one brother, Stephen, and a sister, Ashley. She currently lives with her fiancé Brian Hollins in Mount Laurel, NJ.
