Blaine Gabbert (born Blaine Williamson Gabbert on October 15, 1989 in Ballwin, Missouri) is an American NFL star. Blaine is currently the quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. Blaine was a star player for the University of Missouri, before leaving in 2011 in his junior year for the NFL draft. He was picked up in the first draft round by the Jacksonville Jaguars. He stayed with the team until 2013, when injuries prevented him from playing. In 2014, Blaine was traded to the 49ers, and became the starting quarterback for the team in 2016, replacing Colin Kaepernick
