Benjamin (Ben) Edward Higgins (born on March 23rd, 1988 in Denver, CO) is currently a business analyst for Talisys, a financial services company in Denver. He was also the star of The Bachelor Season 20.

Best Known For:

Ben is best known for competing on Season 11 of The Bachelorette for Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s heart. He was the third runner-up and was sent home after fantasy suite dates. On the Aug. 24 episode of After Paradise, Ben was officially announced as the next Bachelor for Season 20.

Personal Life:

Ben is very close to his family and has a sweet, romantic side, which was seen on Season 20 of The Bachelorette. His Twitter profile also suggests his faith is very important to him. Ben proposed to Lauren Bushnell on the season finale of The Bachelor, which aired on March 14, 2016, and said their wedding will take place “soon.”
