Bio:
Antonin Scalia (born Antonin Gregory Scalia on March 11, 1936 in Trenton, New Jersey) was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States for 30 years. He was appointed to the Supreme Court by President Ronald Reagan in 1986. He became the first Italian-American to ever hold a seat on the Supreme Court. Justice Scalia obtained his law degree from Harvard University. During his time on the Supreme Court, he wrote more concurring opinions than any other justice; only two justices have written more dissents. He was extremely conservative in his viewpoints, and therefore in his rulings.

Personal Life:
Antonin married Maureen Scalia in 1960. Together, they had nine children: five boys and four girls. Though they shared different viewpoints, he was close friends with fellow justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Justice Scalia passed away from natural causes on February 13, 2016.
