Anna Paquin (born Anna Helena Paquin on July 24,1982 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) is an actress from New Zealand. She is best known for her role as Sookie Stackhouse on HBO’s True Blood (for which she garnered a Golden Globe). However, Paquin’s stardom began early; she is the 2nd youngest person to win an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, which she gained after appearing in The Piano. Paquin has also starred in She’s All That, Almost Famous, and the X-Men series.

Personal Life:
In 2010, Paquin married her True Blood co-star, Stephen Moyer. In Sept. 2012, Anna gave birth to fraternal twins, Charlie and Poppy. Through her marriage to Stephen, Anna also has a stepson named Billy (born in 2000) and a stepdaughter named Lilac (born in 2002). In 2010, Anna came out as bisexual in a public service announcement promoting equal rights for the LGBT community.

‘True Blood’ Recap: Sookie’s Past Comes Back To Kill Her — Again

I knew Sookie’s parents were racist, but were they also murderers? Probably, yeah.
Let’s start this week’s recap with a few rhetorical questions: Why does Sookie (Anna Paquin) keep digging into her past? Hasn’t she learned by now that the more questions she asks, the more people come out of the woodworks to kill her? Oh, who am I kidding? This is Sookie we’re talking about; she’s a big fairy dumb-dumb who gets off putting herself, and others, in harm’s way — which explains why the July 14 episode of True Blood ended with her being drowned in a damn lake.

'Family Guy' Took A Shot At 'True Blood!' See The Cartoon Versions Of Sookie & Bill!

The joke really wasn’t funny, but hey, I’ll take any ‘True Blood’ I can get. Is it next summer yet?
Just when I thought I’d seen Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) have sex with vampires in every way imaginable — in a graveyard, on a drug trip, etc. — along came the Sept. 25 episode of Family Guy to present Sookie’s fang-banging in the most unthinkable form yet: animated!

After three long seasons of Bill-or-Eric drama, Sookie (Anna Paquin) finally asked a very important question on the Aug. 21 episode of HBO’s True Blood: “Why can’t I have both?” The end result was a steamy scene that gave both Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) fans reason to pause. Then rewind, and play again.

'True Blood' Recap: Sookie & Eric Have Sex In The Woods! Best. Scene. Ever.

Eric & Sookie finally consummated their timeless romance, while Bill drowned his sorrows in a glass of wine. Did I mention he was alone?
I’ve been looking forward to the July 31 episode of True Blood — the much-hyped full moon episode — for a while now, and I have to be honest, it was a little disappointing. As it turns out, you can’t “make” someone a were-panther, so Jason (Ryan Kwanten) didn’t get his big transformation, despite the many episodes dedicated to building up his story line. That being said, I was definitely NOT disappointed by the very last scene, in which Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) made sweet nasty love in the middle of the woods!
