Bio:
Andy Grammer (born Andrew Charles Grammer on December 3, 1983 in Los Angeles, California) is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Though born in L.A., Andy grew up in Chester, New York. As a child, he learned how to play the trumpet, the guitar and the piano. After graduating from Monroe-Woodbury High School, Andy enrolled in Binghamton University. He dropped out to return to L.A.. He finished his degree in Music Industry Studies at California State University at Northridge. Andy started performing music in public as a busker in Santa Monica, before playing at venues like The Viper Room. His manager discovered him in 2009. He signed with S-Curve records a year later. His 2010 single, “Keep Your Head Up” launched him to success, thanks to its catchy video (featuring Rainn Wilson.) It would also be featured in 2012’s Pitch Perfect. His debut album, Andy Grammer, was released in 2011. It achieved the Number 1 spot on the Billboard New Artist Chart. He released his follow-up EP, Crazy Beautiful, in 2013 and followed it with his second album, Magazines or Novels, in 2014.

Personal Life:
Andy is involved with Warriors In Pink in the fight against breast cancer. In 2012, Andy hosted the Mentos Rock event in Los Angeles and donated ten thousand dollars for a local music program. Andy married singer-songwriter Aijia Lise Guttman, professionally known as Aijia, in July 2012.
