Andrew MillerĀ (born Andrew Mark Miller on May 21, 1985 in Gainesville, Florida) is an American Major League Baseball player. Andrew is the pitcher for the Cleveland Indians, and will be playing in World Series 2016. Andrew made his MLB debut in 2006 playing for the Detroit Tigers, against the New York Yankees. He pitched one scoreless inning. He was traded to the Florida Marlins in 2007, and went back to the minor leagues in 2010 after an injury. He bounced back, and was traded to the Boston Red Sox that same year. He also played for the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees before joining the Indians in 2016. He becameĀ the first pitcher to earn a save for and against the Yankees in the same season since 1988! When the Indians won the ALCS, he was named the division’s MVP, after completingĀ ā7Ā 2ā3Ā scoreless innings, allowing three hits, no walks and striking out 14. His strikeout total set an ALCS record for relievers.
