Amy Adams (born Amy Lou Adams in Vincenza, Italy on August 20, 1974) is an actress and singer, who began by performing at dinner theaters. She made her acting debut in Drop Dead Gorgeous in 1999, and followed it up with a slew of movies, in every genre: Catch Me If You Can, June Bug, The Wedding Date and Talladega Nights, Enchated, On The Road, The Muppets, and Trouble with the Curve. In 2013, she was cast as Lois Lane in Man of Steel.
