Rupert Grint became a household name thanks to his turn as Ron in the Harry Potter franchise. Despite the final film in the series wrapping 10 years ago, the 32-year-old revealed he would be game to reprise his role as the iconic redheaded wizard. “I don’t know. I mean, never say never,” the Servant star told Comicbook in a December 29 interview. The English actor added, “I would never say, ‘Absolutely no.’ It was a huge part of my life and I’m very fond of that character and their stories. So yeah, I mean, I’d be up for it at the right time. I don’t know what capacity that would be, but yeah, we’ll see.”

While Rupert has taken on a number of different acting roles over the past decade, his latest job is a little different — he’s now a dad! In May 2020, he welcomed a baby girl with partner Georgia Groome, and finally shared a snap of his mini-me daughter when he joined Instagram in November. In the selfie, he wore a black T-shirt and baseball cap, while cradling his six-month-old daughter. The infant nuzzled her face into her daddy’s neck and wore an adorable pink sweatshirt.

“Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am,” the actor began, before dubbing his debut as, “Grint on the Gram!” Rupert also finally revealed his baby’s name: “Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint.” How sweet! The couple have been together since 2011, and everyone is so happy for the new parents — even Rupert’s former co-star Daniel Radcliffe. “I mean that is still wild to me that we are now at the stage where we are having kids and I’m sure that is a fact that makes the rest of the world feel very old,” he shared in an interview with Today Show Australia in early June. “[I’m] genuinely just like, so happy for him and Georgia. He is going to be an awesome dad.”
