Brad Pitt will be with his 14-year-old daughter, Shiloh, and 12-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne, on Christmas Day, according to a new report on December 23. ā€œThey can spend the night with him on Christmas Eve,ā€ a source tells Us Weekly, noting that Brad and ex-wife Angelina Jolie previously discussed spending the holidays as a family when they were ā€œgetting alongā€ earlier this year. However, plans have apparently changed.

Furthermore, the source adds that Brad and Angelinaā€˜s ā€œegos have once again derailedā€ the initial plans of being together as a family for the holidays. ā€œBrad and Angelina are equally responsible for the never-ending drama.ā€ HollywoodLife has reached out to a representative for Brad Pitt for comment.

The new report comes as the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor, 57, and Maleficent actress, 45, are still involved in court proceedings over custody of their six kids. The pair also share Pax, 17, Zahara, 15, and Maddox, 19, who is legally considered an adult. While the exes have sorted out their divorce ā€” after Angelina filed in September 2016 ā€” they have yet to settle on a permanent custody agreement for their children.

As for the latest in the ex-coupleā€™s court battle? ā€” In November, Angelina took a loss when a judge denied her attempt to have the judge overseeing their case, Judge John W. Ouderkirk, be replaced. As HollywoodLife previously reported back in August, Angelina filed court documents in LA requesting that the private judge overseeing their case be replaced due to Ouderkirkā€™s alleged previous relationship with Bradā€˜s attorney, Anne C. Kiley.

Following Angelinaā€™s request to have Ouderkirk ā€œdisqualifiedā€ from the case, Brad fired back in separate court documents, obtained by HollywoodLife. ā€œJolieā€™s abrupt cry of judicial bias reeks of bad faith and desperation, not to mention careless disregard for the procedural rules intended to root out legitimately conflicted judicial officers,ā€ the Fight Club actorā€˜s attorneys stated in the legal documents, adding, ā€œUnfortunately, the individuals hurt most by Jolieā€™s transparently tactical gambit are the partiesā€™ own children, who continue to be deprived of a final resolution to these custody issues.ā€ Bradā€™s attorneys went on to call Angelinaā€™s ā€œbelatedā€ request a ā€œthinly veiled attemptā€ at delaying ā€œthe adjudication of long-pending custody issuesā€ in the case.
