Barack Obama had some help from his youngest daughter Sasha in curating his annual playlist. Every year, fans of the former US President await his list of ‘favorites’ from the past 12 months, including books, music, and films. On December 19, Barack revealed his top 30 hits of 2020, and it included the “Savage” Remix by Megan The Stallion featuring Beyonce, “Levitating” by Dua Lipa featuring DaBaby and “Franchise” by Travis Scott featuring Young Thug and M.I.A. “Here are some of my favorite songs of the year. As usual, I had some valuable consultation from our family music guru, Sasha, to put this together. I hope you find a new song or two to listen to,” he tweeted.

“WAP” hitmaker Megan Thee Stallion reposted Barack’s list, writing “Real Presidential sh*t,” while Travis Scott took to his Instagram Story, writing, “Our President been cactus.” Earlier in the week, Barack opened up about his eldest daughter Malia is getting serious with her boyfriend, Rory Farquharson. The pair, both 22, met in 2017 while studying at Harvard University, and it seems they’ve been going strong, as her British beau quarantined with the Obamas during the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. “There was this whole visa thing, he had a job set up, and so we took him in,” he revealed on the December 17 episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast, adding, “I didn’t want to like him, but he’s a good kid.”

The former leader of the free world went on to detail some of the family’s daily activities while social distancing indoors, and revealed Rory eats a lot. “Maybe teaching Malia and Sasha, and Malia’s boyfriend who was with us for a while, spades and then having some spades games,” Barack replied when asked about a fun quarantine moment. “And teaching them how to properly trash talk and slam the cards down.” He continued, “The only thing you discover… [is] young men eat. It’s weird to watch them consume food. And my grocery bill went up about 30 percent.”
