Blake Shelton is one proud fiance! Gwen Stefani dropped her new song, “Let Me Reintroduce Myself,” on Dec. 7, and by the end of the night, it shot to the top of the iTunes charts. Blake took to Twitter to brag about his lady’s accomplishment, and he wrote the sweetest message to congratulate her. “I can’t express how happy I am for you,” Blake wrote. “I love you so much it’s pathetic….congratulations!!!”

It’s been quite a good week for Gwen, as she and Blake also found out that their song, “Happy Anywhere,” reached No. 1 on the country music charts. This marked Gwen’s second number one country song, as the pair’s previous duet, “Nobody But You,” also hit the top spot. Meanwhile, Blake scored his 28th No. 1 with “Happy Anywhere.”
There’s certainly a lot for this couple to celebrate in 2020, as they also got engaged after five years of dating in October. Blake popped the question in Oklahoma, and the two announced the news with social media posts at the end of the month. “Thanks for saving my 2020,” Blake wrote at the time. “And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES!” This will be the third marriage for Blake and the second for Gwen.
Now, the two are planning their wedding, but considering we’re still in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, there’s a lot to be worked out. “[I] really would rather it not be a COVID situation,” Gwen told Ryan Seacrest during an interview on Dec. 7. “I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing.” Plus, she, of course, wants her parents in attendance, so there will be extra caution taken to make sure it’s safe for them when the time does come. “We’re sort of going to just see what happens over the next few months,” she confirmed.
Blake and Gwen will round out 2020 as coaches on season 19 of The Voice. Gwen is not returning for the show’s 20th season in 2021, but Blake will be back in his big red chair alongside Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas.
