Meek Mill had people on social media talking after a clip from his December 6 Instagram Story went viral. In the video, the rapper, 33, captured a group of kids asking him to buy the water that they were selling. It wasn’t immediately clear if Meek actually purchased anything, but it seemed that he gave the kids $20, as he says in the video below. After giving the kids $20, Meek could be heard saying that they should “split” the money amongst themselves! Naturally, a number of people online took notice of Meek’s words, and the rapper got trolled pretty harshly for it. “Meek Mill is driving around Atlanta in a 400k car, Saw a few kids hustling waters and gave them 20 dollars and told them to split it. 6-8 kids splitting 20 dollars,” one person said on Twitter, re-posting the clip above. But that wasn’t all.

Throughout the comments of the clip were a slew of people trolling Meek for only giving the group of youngsters $20 and then telling them to divvy it up amongst each other. “The new 20 Dollar bill,” another Twitter user wrote alongside an image of a $20 bill with Meek’s face on it. Another person wrote “Meek IG post the next day” with a a photo of the rapper resting his head on a stacks of dollar bills. For his part, Meek seemingly threw some shade back at the people who were making jokes about him.
