Amanda Bynes, 34, and her fiancé Paul Michael were spotted getting some fresh air. The couple — who have been rarely seen during the COVID-19 pandemic — held hands as they strolled around Los Angeles on Thursday, Dec. 3. The All That star also revealed a dramatic dark-hair makeover with bangs, switching up from her previous shorter length and lighter color. She opted to keep her hair sleek and straight for the shopping outing.

The pair looked happy and healthy as they stayed close for the walk, both keeping protective face masks hanging below their chins. Amanda channeled the 1970s in a pair of black and burgundy plaid pants, adding an oversized black t-shirt to the look. She added a pink pair of bumps and a periwinkle blue velvet handbag, accessorizing with silver bracelets. Paul wore a black henley-style shirt and track pants, showing off his trendy fade style buzzcut.

Amanda shocked the world on Valentine’s Day 2020 when she announced she was engaged to Paul! “Engaged to tha love of my life,” she wrote in a Feb. 14 Instagram photo, showing off her nude manicured hand and ring. A mystery man’s hand — who was later revealed to be Paul — could also be see in the snap. Little is known about Paul, who hails from Los Angeles, but it appears that the couple met while attending the same Alcoholics Anonymous groups.

It’s unclear when the engaged-couple plans to walk down the aisle, but due to Amanda’s conservatorship they will need permission from her parents. Legally, her parents Lynn Organ and Rick Bynes manage her financial affairs. When it comes to marriage, a judge would also have to sign off. The 34-year-old has previously opened up about her mental health struggles and being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. “It definitely isn’t fun when people diagnose you with what they think you are,” Amanda said to Paper magazine.

“That was always really bothersome to me. If you deny anything and tell them what it actually is, they don’t believe you,” she went on. “Truly, for me, [my behavior] was drug-induced, and whenever I got off of [drugs], I was always back to normal. I know that my behavior was so strange that people were just trying to grasp at straws for what was wrong.” In March, Amanda also teased that she could be pregnant to her fans — sharing an image of a sonogram to her Instagram. The image was later deleted, and it was believed to be a hoax.
