Pregnancy isn’t slowing Gabby Barrett down! With her due date approaching, Gabby belted out a stunning rendition of “The First Noel” during CMA Country Christmas, which aired on Nov. 30. Her growing belly was on full display as she rocked a velvet dress with long sleeves, which led onto her fingertips as gloves. She pulled her hair back into an updo with her bangs hanging down to complete the festive look.
Gabby was just one of many country stars to sing holiday songs for CMA Country Christmas. While some of the artists performed classic hits, others rocked out to their own original songs during the special. Kelsea Ballerini, Tim McGraw, Darius Rucker, Lady A, and Little Big Town were amongst the other performers.
The 2020 CMA Country Christmas special was hosted by Thomas Rhett, who also performed, and his beautiful wife, Lauren Akins. Unfortunately, the concert was not able to have a live audience like in years’ past. This was due to restrictions put in place amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The show must go on, though, and the artists came together to get viewers in the holiday spirit, regardless of the circumstances.
Now that the holiday season is here and things are slowing down, Gabby has a lot to look forward to. She and her husband, Cade Foehner, are currently expecting their first child. They made their exciting pregnancy announcement in August, just two months after Gabby released her debut album, GOLDMINE.
Gabby and Cade met when they were both contestants on American Idol in 2018. She wound up coming in third place, and they stayed together after the show ended. Cade proposed in March 2019. Just seven months later, they tied the knot. With a little one on the way, Gabby and Cade’s second year of marriage is definitely shaping up to be a good one, and we can’t wait to meet their newborn!
