Courteney Cox, 56, goes viral every Thanksgiving — and it’s all thanks to Friends! During a season 5 episode dubbed “The One With All The Thanksgivings,” her character Monica iconically puts a raw turkey on her head and dances. The epic moment came as she attempted to make up with her on-screen boyfriend Chandler, played by Matthew Perry (which, by the way, prompted him to say “I love you” for the first time). It’s been 22 years since the episode aired, but Courteney hilariously recreated the moment for die-hard fans — and they were loving it.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. I hope you’re having a great day. I’m feeling so thankful,” she began in an Instagram video posted on Thursday, Nov. 26, showing off her flawless complexion. “And also, if I get one more goddamn .GIF that turkey on my head dancing like a f—ing fool — I’m just going to snap!” she jokingly added in anger, putting her face right up to the camera (and she’s really not wrong, the memes are inescapable).

“So anyway, since I’m the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go — hope it makes you happy,” she teased after a moving .GIF of her appeared with the sunglass-clad turkey. Courteney then gave us a whole new turkey-dancing moment as she put one on her head again and shimmied just like it was 1998! Hilariously, she even included a pair of sunglasses and wore a green t-shirt, as Monica did in the unforgettable episode. She didn’t forget the music, either: The Rembrandts “I’ll Be There For You” played during the brief moment, adding to the nostalgia!

“Happy Thanksgiving xoxo #friends,” Courteney captioned the video, which her famous friends went wild for! Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe in the long-running sitcom, appeared to be in shock as she watched the laugh-out-loud funny video. “You DID THAT!!” she exclaimed. Close friend Reese Witherspoon, who appeared in the series as Rachel’s younger sister Jill, added “Love you sister!” David Beckham — who guest-starred in an episode of Modern Family with Court — posted, “OMG this just made my day @courteneycoxofficial @friends.”

Friends remains more popular than ever thanks to Netflix and now new-home HBO Max! The original cast, including Courteney, Lisa, Matthew, Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer are set for a reunion special to stream in March 2021. The special was originally announced back in February, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The exciting thing is that we’re all going to get together for the first time, in a room, and actually talk about the show,” Courteney previously teased on Kevin Nealon‘s show Hiking With Kevin. “We’re going to have the best time…It’s going to be great. We really haven’t all done that and actually sat there and talked about and reminisced about this incredible experience that we had,” she added.
