Britney Spears is back at her favorite vacation spot: Maui! The 38-year-old pop star is enjoying an early birthday getaway with her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, 26, and they traveled out to the west side of the tropical island for a cliff jumping adventure amid the trip. Britney shared an Instagram clip of their nature outing on Nov. 18, which showed her and Sam making their way down a cliffside path before leaping off rocks and into the sparkling turquoise water.

Britney kept her white top and short shorts on as she launched herself into the ocean, while Sam ditched his shirt to leap into the water. The video ended with a gorgeous shot of a beach amid sunset hour, with purple and gold colors streaking the sky.
“Only magic here,” Britney captioned the post. The “Toxic” singer has been busy updating her Instagram page with vacation snaps: she also shared two selfies with Sam in their vacation attire (as you can see below), and another photo of them posing by a private jet after touching down on Maui on Nov. 16. Britney is gearing up to turn 39 years old, because she captioned the private jet photo, “Felt like a little trip to paradise for an early birthday celebration” — and added a multitude of excited emojis!

Despite the happy string of photos, fans still took to the comments section with worried sentiments in the wake of the singer’s intense conservatorship battle with her father, Jamie Spears. A judge reportedly declined Britney’s request to boot her dad off the conservatorship of her estate, which our sister publication Variety reported on Nov. 10 (she can still make future petitions to remove or suspend Jamie from his longstanding position, though).
During the conservatorship hearing, Britney’s attorney Samuel D. Ingham III reportedly told the judge that Britney refuses to perform “as long as her father is in charge of her career,” since she is allegedly “afraid” of him. A week before the hearing, the lawyer also filed paperwork on Britney’s behalf for the private equity firm Bessemer Trust Company to replace her dad as the “the sole conservator of her estate,” according to court documents that HollywoodLife reviewed. It looks like Britney’s taking a much-needed break from the legal drama now.
