Kurupt admits that he hates his ā€œdrinking problem,ā€ while Phaedra Parks says she hates that sheā€™s a ā€œperfectionist.ā€

Hazel-E confesses that she hates that her ā€œrap career has not taken off.ā€ She doesnā€™t want to be known more for her drama than her talent. When Deā€™Von gets up and takes a swing, he doesnā€™t hold back.

Deā€™Von hates that heā€™s not independent. ā€œI hate being judged,ā€ he admits. Hazel-E even flinches when she sees Deā€™Von take a swing during the exercise.

ā€œDeā€™Von was following a whole bunch of girls and finessing on Instagram, but with my council and my guidance we have turned his career into an aspiring model career,ā€ Hazel-E says. ā€œBut I donā€™t know if heā€™s, you know, here for me or if heā€™s here for the life of Hazel.ā€

Hazel-Eā€™s concerns over Deā€™Vonā€™s intentions have been a primary concern for the couple since they started their Marriage Boot Camp journey. ā€œAnytime youā€™re on a platform like I am and being on TV and in music, and then somebodyā€™s trying to holler at you, I naturally am going to question their intentions,ā€ Hazel-E told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. ā€œI had to make sure that his intentions were pure and genuine, and that he wasnā€™t just trying to use me for camera time or Instagram fame and that he was real.ā€

After two failed relationships, Hazel-E didnā€™t want this relationship to fail. The Marriage Boot Camp experience strengthened their relationship in a huge way. ā€œWeā€™re a testament that Boot Camp works. Weā€™re one of the couples who made it through,ā€ she said. Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on WE tv.
