UPDATE (Jan. 6 — 11:00 p.m. ET): Night one wasn’t Hannah Brown’s only appearance on season 24 of The Bachelor. Later on in the premiere episode, she showed up during the second group date of the season. Peter actually tasked Hannah with planning the group date, and she told the women that they would be getting onstage and sharing some of their intimate sex stories with a live audience. Hannah went first to demonstrate, and she actually told the tale of her and Peter’s relationship — including their steamy night in a windmill, when they had sex four times.

The reminiscing appeared to bring back some old feelings for Hannah, who broke down in tears backstage afterward. Peter eventually found her, and they had a super raw and emotional conversation about their relationship. Hannah told Peter that seeing him as the Bachelor on night one was “terrible” for her. She also apologized for their breakup on The Bachelorette. “My heart was very confused,” she admitted. “I don’t know what I did. I don’t know what the f*** I was doing. I’m really f***ed up.”

Peter then asked Hannah if she ever considered asking him out — like she did with runner-up Tyler Cameron — after she broke up with her final pick, Jed Wyatt. “There was still something when I saw you at After the Final Rose,” Hannah admitted. Peter didn’t let her off easy, though, and explained that her asking Tyler out instead of him is what helped him finally move on. “For me, that was it,” he said. “I don’t want to be someone’s third option. But then I found out you moved 20 minutes away from where I lived. I feel like I thought I wasn’t confused, but now I don’t know.” Peter’s emotions were clearly all over the place, and he even asked Hannah to come “be part of the house.” She was caught off guard by that request, and told him, “I mean….maybe. Oh my gosh. There’s a lot. I don’t know.”

The conversation then went back to their breakup, and Hannah told Peter that she “questions” sending him home “all the time.” Peter later circled back to their reconciliation on After the Final Rose, and added, “I remember I was watching that live episode, telling my parents..if she wants to try this again, I am 100% for it. My heart sank when you asked Tyler out.” Hannah explained that Tyler had reached out to her while the show was airing, which is part of what swayed that decision.

“You didn’t say anything,” she revealed. “I didn’t know where you were. I knew you were upset and dealing with it, so I didn’t reach out to you and you didn’t reach out to me. I thought you wanted to be the Bachelor. When I saw you…I felt more than I thought I was going to. I didn’t think there would be so much spark.” This left Peter super confused about what Hannah wanted from him. The episode ended with him telling her, “I’m so confused right now. I know I shouldn’t feel that way, but I did kind of want you to come back in. I don’t know what to do right now. I’m so confused. This is just the first week that this whole thing is starting. I’m obviously not 100 percent where I thought I was. I don’t know what to do.” We won’t find out what happens next, though until the next episode on Jan. 13!

ORIGINAL STORY: Hannah Brown broke Peter Weber’s heart on season 15 of The Bachelorette. The two were able to hash things out and get to an amicable place on After the Final Rose in July, but it looks like their story isn’t fully over! During the premiere of Peter’s season of The Bachelor on Jan. 6, Hannah showed up in the final limo of the night. She couldn’t stop nervously giggling as she approached Peter, and there was a look of absolute shock on his face when he saw who was stepping out of the limo. Hannah looked beautiful in a red gown with keyhole cutout, and her hair styled in loose waves.

After seeing previews for season 24, many fans were hoping that Hannah’s appearance meant that she was joining the cast to try and find love with Peter once again. However, it turns out that she was just there as a friend. “I’m nervous,” she admitted, while taking Peter’s hands. “When I heard you were going to be the Bachelor, I had mixed emotions.” She then reminisced on the first time she met Peter at the Bachelor mansion — he gave her a pair of pilot’s wings and told her that he wanted to “find [his] co-pilot.”

Hannah told Peter that she still wants him to “find that person,” and she brought back the wings that Peter gave her months earlier. “That means a lot,” Peter told her. “Thank you.” Before they parted ways, Hannah told her ex, “You’re going to be great. I’m really happy for you.” And that’s that!

Peter was eliminated after the final three fantasy suites on Hannah’s season of The Bachelorette. The two famously had sex four times in a windmill on their overnight date, and many of the women on Peter’s season joked about this fun fact when they met Peter for the first time on The Bachelor.

Hannah wound up choosing Jed Wyatt during her season’s finale, and they got engaged. However, it was short-lived — they split just weeks later when Hannah found out that Jed had another girlfriend when he went on the show. So, when she showed up to surprise Peter, she was totally single. Unfortunately, he was already dating 30 other women at that point! The Bachelor airs on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
